Despicable? Box Office Sales Says No

Universal's 3D animated film Despicable Me was well received by audiences in North America as it debuted on the weekend box office at the top with a healthy $60.1 million dollars. The movie is led by actor Steve Carell, who lends his voice to the main character of the movie, Gru. Last week's winner The Twilight Saga: Eclipse slips to number 2, while the sequel Predators opens with $25.3 million, exceeding expectations and pushing it to 3rd place.
